Top spot is our's to keep - Emordi

Enugu Rangers' manager, Okey Emordi has said his wards will not give up their lead on the log.

Rangers' road trip win at ABS on Matchday 11 in llorin helped the Coal City lads climb back to the top spot of the 10-week old league for the second time.

Emordi told SuperSport.com that their second coming at the top is for keeps.

"The boys are the raw material and determinant whether we go up or down.

"But from the look of things, they want us to stay on top. Once they are happy and officials, too, there won't be limit to their efforts to keep us up there.

"We were there before, some other clubs have been there too but this time around we will keep the top spot," he said.

The former Enyimba handler is positive the Flying Antelopes will end their quest for laurel this season.

"Well, we have never hidden our intention to win laurel this season, we're committed towards achieving the result.

"But it's a gradual things. We've a long way to go and issues will surely come up.

"We'll take it step by step, pick our points and see where it takes us at the end of the season," he said.
